Doctors Without Borders:   Founded in 1971, Doctors Without Borders relies on volunteer physicians to carry out its’ many missions.  Each day, Doctors Without Borders heals the wounds of those injured in war, vaccinates the world’s poorest children, gives out AIDS medications, and gives emergency service in areas struck by natural disasters. The doctors may volunteer, but there still needs to be money to pay for travel expenses, medications, supplies, surgery rooms, and hospitals. Jubilee USA:  Jubilee lobbies the world’s richest nations to give debt relief for the world’s poorest.   Jubilee believes that much of the world’s poorest countries are suffering from the effects of “odious” debt. Odious debt is loans given to the worlds poorest by the richest countries in the world because the “poor” country was politically important at the time. (For example: England took out money to build a power plant in South Africa. The plant provided electricity for whites only. In the late 1980’s England pulled out leaving South Africa a billion dollar debt which it can not repay) The countries which have  received debt relief have invested their savings into public schools and health care.
